On Oct. 15, AST TAS NRE discussed emergency response grants.
AST TAS NRE explained that emergency response grants of up to AUD 10k are available under the Primary Producer Emergency Response Grant Program.
Grant Details and Application Deadline
It said the grants are available for the costs of clean-up and recovery from the Tasmanian flood and severe weather event in Aug. 2024 as well as Sep. 2024.
An additional amount of AUD 15k is available for primary producers in Derwent Valley, Central Highlands Local Government Areas, for additional expenses incurred for clean-up and recovery post the flood event; applications close at 3pm on Jun. 30, 2025.
