CZC PRL published Act 23/2025 coll. of Jan. 29, 2025, amending Act 127/2005 coll., on electronic communications and amending related Acts (electronic communications act), as amended, and certain other Acts.
Main Points
Changes re requirements for communication activity applicants including a clean criminal record and other documentation, various certifications for radio frequencies.
Undertakings providing a mobile public communications network shall be entitled to assess the riskiness of communications via their network on the basis of traffic data.
Obligation for appropriate technical and organizational measures to prevent the misuse of an electronic communications network and services; enforcement competence.
New provisions regarding conditions for setting up and securing interfaces for intercepting, recording messages and storing traffic and location data upon request.
Unified list of blocked websites; competence for disputes between a person performing communication activities on the one hand and a subscriber or user on the other hand.
