Delivery Network Company
WV Code adds article 63, WV INS 33-63-1, WV INS 33-63-2, WV INS 33-63-3, WV INS 33-63-4, WV INS 33-63-5, WV INS 33-63-6 related to the DNC insurance model act.
Added new definitions, and specifies that if any conflict between this article and another law dealing with delivery or transport of goods, the other law would prevail.
DNC driver or company on the driver's behalf will keep primary automobile insurance that recognizer driver as DNC driver or that used personal vehicle for business uses.
Includes liability, insured/uninsured motorists coverage, required coverage will meet state's financial responsibility, must cooperate with insurance investigation as needed.
DNC will disclose in writing to delivery network drivers insurance coverage and policies before they are allowed to accept a request for a delivery on the DNC digital network.
Insurer may exclude certain coverage in the policy issued to an owner and operator of personal vehicle for loss or injury during delivery service period or available period.
