On May 15, 2024, POL GVT published Act of Apr. 26, 2024 on ensuring compliance with the accessibility requirements of certain products and services by business entities.
The Act shall enter into force on Jun. 28, 2025, except for art 6, points 1, 2 and 5-9 and art 39 point 6, which enter into force 14 days from the date of announcement.
The Act shall not apply to products placed on the market before its entry into force.
Until Jun. 28, 2030, the service provider may offer or provide services using products that don't meet the accessibility requirements that he used before the entry into force.
Also, exceptions are in place for some content of websites and mobile applications.
POL GVT published the draft act on ensuring compliance with the accessibility requirements of certain products and services by business entities.
