JPN JITA said it has made a resolution on Feb. 27, 2025 re Basic principles for investment trusts to be subject to information sharing to improve product governance.
The Basic principles summarize the framework for information sharing between investment trust management firms and sales firms on customer attribute information.
To provide products in the best interest of customers in the entire investment process.
Follows JPN FSA Jul. 2024 proposed customer-oriented business operations, #218070.
Effectiveness
The information sharing will commence from the end of Jun. 2025.
