TN LEG enacted bill SB 569 (HB 693) as introduced, for certain changes in practice of pharmacy, to add requirement for a patient to pay an administrative fee.
In relation to pharmacist-provided hormonal contraceptives when the patient is insured or covered and receives a pharmacy benefit covering cost of hormonal contraceptives.
Bill revises this provision to allow patients to be required to pay an administrative fee.
Also, bill adds registered pharmacists to list of entities/individuals who can prescribe.
As unlawful possession does not apply to a licensed physician, registered pharmacists have also been added to the exemption list through enactment of this bill.
