On Apr. 8, TN LEG enacted bill for insured patients re pharmacy fee.

  • TN LEG enacted bill SB 569 (HB 693) as introduced, for certain changes in practice of pharmacy, to add requirement for a patient to pay an administrative fee.
  • Amends TN LEG 53-10-104 (re drugs), and TN LEG 53-10-105 (prescription unlawful), TN LEG 63-10-219 (hormonal contraceptives) and TN INS 56-32-137 (discrimination).

  • In relation to pharmacist-provided hormonal contraceptives when the patient is insured or covered and receives a pharmacy benefit covering cost of hormonal contraceptives.
