Bill Provisions
Requires at least 10 days' written notice of time, place of hearing, issue to be heard.
Eliminates requirement that notice must be served on the parties by certified mail.
Allows for service of notice made by regular mail, fax, or email for represented parties.
Self-represented claimants, also known as pro se claimants, will continue to receive notices of hearing by certified mail unless they choose to opt into electronic delivery.
