DEN GA consulted on updated betting and online casino certification program.
Program updated due to the introduction of supplier licenses from Jan. 1, 2025.
Update clarifies requirements license holders and game suppliers must meet in future.
In addition, it is part of preparation for introduction of the Game Register, which must handle RNG and game certificates; language adjustments made in the documents, too.
Further significant changes include, in General Requirements definitions added for Permit Holder, Game Provider, Base Platform, Game Platform and Game Certificate.
Definition of trial was renamed to test and at the same time reworded and definitions of inspection and game system reworded.
From now on, licensees and game suppliers are responsible for their own certification.
Actors are each responsible for having certifications and for reporting them to DEN GA.
License holders' previous obligation to compile reports from game suppliers removed, as game suppliers will henceforth have own permission and responsibility.
Permit holders must continue to be aware of subcontractors for their base platform.
General change made re role of supervisor which is responsible for signing reports etc.
Need for supervisor to be based on requirements for supervision in ISO, PCI, CREST.
Other changes detailed include System Change Management Program as new section added with rules for system changes regarding integration of base and game platform.
It means license holders and game suppliers must establish a business process that ensures that the base and game platform function correctly after integration.
DEN GA estimates this does not entail extra burden for license holders, game supplier, i.e. expects measures already taken to ensure gaming system functions correctly.
Business process must be approved by the testing company per annual certification.
