On Oct. 28, FR ACPR announced compliance with EBA guidelines.
FR ACPR confirmed application of EBA guidelines on the benchmarking of diversity practices, including diversity policies and the gender pay gap (EBA/GL/2023/08).
FR ACPR declared itself compliant with the exception of the provisions providing for the communication to FR ACPR of information relating to the non-binary gender.
The reason of the exception is the lack of recognition of this category in French law.
FR ACPR expects credit institutions and class 1 bis and 2 investment firms affected by these guidelines to make every effort to comply with all of their provisions.
Except from those with which FR ACPR declared that it does not intend to comply.
Effectiveness
The guidelines entered into force on Jun. 27, 2024; the first exercise of collecting the data covered by them will take place in 2025 on data re to the 2024 financial year.
