NLD GVT issued Decree of Sep. 12, 2024 on rules on accessibility of electronic communications services re implementation of Dir 2019/882 (implementation decree on accessibility requirements for electronic communications services).
Decree implements Chapter 7a, Telecommunications act, to implement Dir 2019/882 on the accessibility requirements for products and services.

Directive drawn up partly to implement UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, to promote, protect and safeguard the rights of people with disabilities.
In addition to personal autonomy and personal participation,
Directive aims to improve the accessibility of a number of products and services for persons with disabilities or functional limitations.
Effectiveness
Decree shall enter into force on Jun. 28, 2025.
