Bill Provisions
Revises brokerage services definition; define brokerage services and showing property.
Repeals the rule that allowed licensees to show properties to prospective buyers or tenants without a written agreement in place, brokerage agreement now required.
Clarifies that licensees representing sellers or landlords are not required to show property to buyers unless it's part of their brokerage agreement with the prospective.
Strengthens importance of formal brokerage agreements in real estate interactions.
