BRZ CB published Instruction 469 re changes to Instruction 165, see rule #123604.
Instruction 469 includes amendments to the instructions and layout code of the Document 4010 Analytical Balance Sheet; Document4016 Analytical Balance Sheet.
Highlights
Instruction 469 includes changes to the accounting items of the Accounting Standard for Institutions Regulated by BRZ CB (Cosif), and established SML as shipping format.
Documents 4010 and 4016 are prepared by financial institutions and other authorized.
To allow accounting records in Cosif chart of accounts to be aligned with accounting criteria and procedures, it was necessary to change headings of the accounting plan.
The necessary change to the TXT and XML modules of the Cosif System would probably compromise the Jan. 2025 deadline, for the entry into force of version 1.5.
Effectiveness
Amendments shall come into force on Jan. 1, 2025.
Jul. 2024 BRZ CB Documents Update
On Jul. 9, 2024, BRZ CB issued Communication 41.841 to Form 4010, Analytical patrimonial balance sheet, and Form 4060, conglomerate analytical balance sheet.
Documents must be transmitted through the File Transfer System - STA, homologation environment, accessible at the electronic address provided in the Communication.
Oct. 2024 BRZ CB Documents Transmission
On Oct. 16, 2024, BRZ CB reported on availability as of Oct. 21, 2024 of homologation environment for the submission of the specified documents in Notice 42.285.
The transmission of the documents listed in the first paragraph must be done through the File Transfer System (STA) using the the file types enumerated in the Notice.
Nov. 7, 2024 BRZ CB Documents Update
On Nov. 7, 2024, BRZ CB published Resolution 428 to establish the deadlines for sending accounting documents related to the base dates of Jan. and Feb. 2025.

Nov. 21, 2024 BRZ CB Adjustments
On Nov. 21, 2024, BRZ CB published Resolution 5.184 to amend Resolution 4.222.
Ordinary monthly contribution of institutions associated with Credit Guarantee Fund (FGC) is 0.01% (one hundredth of a percent) of the amount of account balances.
The instruments of Annex II, without special guarantee, whose transfer of ownership requires the intervention of the issuer, up to the limit of R$5,000.00 per customer.
FGC shall have an Advisory Board, no executive functions, composed of ten members.
The Audit Committee is a permanent statutory body advising the Board of Directors.
Executive Board elected by the Board for up to three years, with reelection permitted.
FGC will have a Fiscal Council composed of 3 members, elected by General Assembly.
Resolution 5.184 comes into force on the date of its publication.
